In 2005 the first version of Dynaway EAM for MS Dynamics AX was released. As a result of successful implementations, Microsoft acquired the rights to Dynaway EAM in 2018. Dynaway EAM is now part of D365FO.

Dynaway EAM and Dynaway Software
STEAM Consultancy is an expert in Enterprise Asset Management and has extensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations 365 (D365FO). We are Dynaway Asset Management partner for Western Europe. We have done multiple implementations in Dynaway’s EAM Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 and AX2009. Dynaway EAM is the standard functionality of Dynamics 365FO. Nowadays, this software is named Microsoft Asset Management.
Dynaway keeps innovating and has created the Advanced Asset Management module. As a Dynaway partner for EAM, we keep adding new functionality for our customers in Microsoft Asset Management software.
Dynaway’s Advanced Asset Management software offers solutions to create maintenance work orders between companies and maintenance planners. It is possible to develop asset management work orders in the project module. Another feature is automatically creating a maintenance plan procurement. Fixed remarks can be added to the lifecycle state log. Work orders are provided with a schedule log functionality.
Dynaway EAM offers the Planning Board solution for D365FO and the Dynaway Mobile EAM to increase efficiency. Dynaway Analytics is a customized dashboard for our customers which gives a complete overview of your maintenance management. Additionally, in Microsoft Asset Management, the Dynaway Safe Work module can be implemented.

In 2020 a substantial implementation project started commissioned by a worldwide shipping company. This implementation holds Dynamics 365 AM + Dynaway advanced Asset Management, mobile MS Asset Management, maintenance schedule, and Asset Management Analytics for more than 100 vessels.
Dynaway Planning Board
Planning Board for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Asset Management.
The planning board module for Microsoft Asset Management in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations can be used for planning unscheduled work order lines on individual workers. Planners, supervisors and managers can schedule and reschedule work order lines on the Mobile Client. Scheduling will be updated in real-time. You drag and drop a work order line from the unscheduled area to the calendar area to schedule it.
The planning board is meant to be used for tasks or jobs that require only one worker per work order line and no additional tools or other capacity reservations to complete the job.
The planning board does not calculate against the work time profile for a worker, in which the worker may work an 8-hour day shift or night shift. On the planning board, 24 hours is available for every worker every day, meaning you can override calendar capacity if required. This feature may be helpful if, for example, workers are asked to work on a Saturday or Sunday, which is not part of their standard work schedule.

With a mobile system, maintenance workers and service technicians can do their jobs and register relevant data and consumption in a production department or on a remote site anywhere, also in areas with limited or no internet access.
Dynaway Mobile Asset Management solution is available in the standard Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. The “built-in” approach allows you to use data from across the business to strategize and implement a more vital maintenance strategy.
Mobile Client provides a complete overview for maintenance workers regarding the equipment that requires maintenance or service and related work orders and schedules.
